The laser beam targets colors corresponding to a specific laser wavelength and uses ultra-short picosecond pulses to break down the tattoo into very small particles, which are then easily removed by the body’s immune system.

Individual parameters of the procedure are selected, depending on the color, depth, density of pigment, the area of removal and the age of the tattoo or permanent makeup. An anesthetic cream is applied to the treated area.

Special goggles are put on the eyes, and the doctor treats the desired area with a laser. During the process, the pigment that is in the cells breaks down into small particles, and then can be easily eliminated by the body.

At the end of the procedure, a moisturizing and soothing cream is applied to the treatment area, and the doctor gives recommendations for after care.

The effectiveness of treatment depends on many factors: age, location, depth, color, size and type of tattoo. To achieve optimal results, an average of 2-10 treatments for tattoo removal and 2-5 treatment for permanent makeup r will be required, spaced 4-8 weeks apart.

When you are planning to remove tattoos, you need to take into consideration that immediately after tattoo removal, redness, swelling, tingling, and slight itching may occur in the treatment area. During the recovery period after complete tattoo removal, you must:

• Try not to get the tattoo removal area wet for 24 hours.
• For the first 1–2 days, apply cream with panthenol or bepanthen cream on the treated area
• Avoid sunbathing and visiting a solarium for 4 weeks.
• Avoid application of scrubs and cosmetics with abrasive particles for 1 week.
• Always apply sunscreen with SPF above 50 to the area where the procedure has been performed.
