Indiba Therapy

The main purpose of INDIBA in aesthetic medicine and dermatology is to perform non-invasive skin rejuvenation, wrinkle correction, lifting, body contouring and reduction of fat deposits.

Indiba Therapy

INDIBA THERAPY on INDIBA ELITE NS device is a unique 448 KHz RF technology for cellular revitalization and tissue biostimulation.

This technology allows to achieve a deep penetration and activation of fibroblasts, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin becomes tightened and elastic. In addition, using monopolar radiofrequency exposure, this procedure can improve blood flow, reduce swelling, accelerate the breakdown of fat cells, and increase the elasticity and permeability of vascular walls.

INDIBA therapy is used in a wide variety of fields: from dermatology and gynecology to plastic surgery and trichology.

The main purpose of INDIBA in aesthetic medicine and dermatology is to perform non-invasive skin rejuvenation, wrinkle correction, lifting, body contouring and reduction of fat deposits. INDIBA is actively used by plastic surgeons to accelerate rehabilitation after syrgery.

In trichology, INDIBA is used to stimulate hair growth; in gynecology, it is used to treat pelvic floor diseases, urinary incontinence, and eliminate pelvic pain.

How does Indiba therapy work?

INDIBA celullar therapy stimulates the natural process of healing and tissue restoration without causing any traumatic effects on them. To achieve such results, a unique frequency of 448 kHz is used, which ensures energy transfer that is absolutely biocompatible with the tissues of the human body. Energy enhances biostimulation, activates microcirculation and provides metabolic hyperactivation (including stem cells), while preserving the natural processes of cell physiology.

INDIBA technology is based on a monopolar radio frequency of 448 kHz. Research shows that a stable frequency of 448 kHz can achieve 3 different therapeutic effects:

– Hyperactivation (hyperthermal effect)

Breaks down fat/fatty deposits, neutralizes toxins and promotes their elimination, accelerates cellular metabolism and promotes collagen production.

– Vascularization (thermal effect)

Dilates blood vessels, increases blood flow, saturates tissues and cells with oxygen, accelerates cellular metabolism and promotes drainage.

– Biostimulation (subthermal effect)

Activates cellular metabolism, increases blood circulation and activates fibroblasts. The ability to operate in the subthermal range using only the electrical effect makes INDIBA Elite NS a truly versatile system.

As a result, patients can return to normal life faster with better results.

How many sessions are recommended?

The number of sessions is highly variable. We can predict that for a pre-surgical treatment, one session would be enough, and for a post-surgical one we could achieve results in two to four sessions. Depending on the combination with other treatments and your goals, the doctor will prescribe the best procedure for achieving the most satisfactory results.

We recommend to conduct 6 sessions (2-3 sessions per week) for skin tightening and face rejuvenation, 10-12 sessions (2-3 sessions per week) for body skin tightening and reduction localized adipose tissue, 12-15 sessions for reduction the appearance of cellulite (including prone and supine cellulite).

FAQ

How does INDIBA work?

INDIBA technology promotes the biological response of the tissue, accelerating recovery after a treatment or surgery, reducing pain and producing better rejuvenation, revitalization, lifting and hydration results, among others.

Is INDIBA THERAPY safe?

INDIBA treatment is completely safe and has no downtime. INDIBA is approved by specific country’s regulatory bodies, it is CE marked and FDA approved. Our clinic provides comprehensive training for our doctors and therapists to ensure we deliver safe and effective treatment for our patients.

Are the treatments painful?

No, these are painless and very pleasant. The treatments are carried out using two types of capacitive and/or resistive electrodes as needed.

How often can it be applied?

INDIBA technology is harmless and can be applied with no limit of sessions. Depending on the combination with other treatments, the doctor will prescribe the best procedure for achieving the most satisfactory results.

How is the procedure perfomed?

After removing makeup, a special cream is applied to the skin, then the therapist begins the procedure, following the massage lines with a nozzle that pleasantly emits heat.

The procedure lasts from 40 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the areas being treated. Each of the two nozzles takes half the allotted time. Immediately after the procedure, the face has a soft pink blush and looks fresh. After Indiba therapy for the body, the skin looks elastic, toned, moisturized, cellulite is less noticeable, and a decrease in circumference is felt due to the lymphatic drainage and lipolytic effect.

Can I sunbathe before and/or after an INDIBA treatment?

Yes, there are no contraindications. Nevertheless, in the event of intense sun over-exposure, we recommend restricting the use of high temperatures in the application of INDIBA for 24-48 hours after sun exposure.

Can I use INDIBA if I’m receiving other treatments, or if I have fillers, implants, botulinum toxin or threads?

Yes, INDIBA is compatible with other procedures and can be used in zones with implants, fillers, botulinum toxin, threads, pre- and post-surgery and other medical procedures.

Is INDIBA therapy is the same as laser treatment?

No, laser uses light to penetrate the skin. The evidence confirms that laser therapy cannot penetrate further than 15mm (around the length of a human nail) in depth. This means that laser is very superficial in what it can target. It is a very focused treatment. Due to INDIBA being an electromagnetic current, the tissues are targeted without the skin absorbing much of the affect.

Can INDIBA be applied to treat scars?

Yes. We have different protocols to help the cicatricial process and to improve the aesthetic of an old scar as well. We can treat recent scars, which are still in an inflammatory stage, hypertrophic scars, retracted scars and can reduce the development of keloid scars in early stages.

Is INDIBA therapy effective for hair problems?

Yes, INDIBA therapy increases blood flow to the scalp, demonstrating positive effects during the hair development cycle. Therapy also has a biostimulation effect, which promotes hair growth. Based time required for hair growth, therapy should be carried out within no less than 2 – 3 months. In addition, there are no contraindications to combining INDIBA hair care therapy with other types of pharmacological treatment, for example using minoxidil.

Can INDIBA help to treat acne?

Yes, INDIBA helps to control the inflammatory process, regulates the production of sebum and promotes the regeneration of the skin. It may produce an apparent “worsening” of the condition in the posterior days after the first session, but it is actually shortening de recovery period and will improve after a few days.

What is the difference between INDIBA Therapy and another RF treatments?

An important difference between Indiba and other RF devices is that it does not operate in a frequency range, but maintains a strictly defined signal frequency at 448 kHz. INDIBA is working on a unique frequency, which causes thermal and sub-thermal effects, achieving noticeable results from the first session and enables a rebalancing of positive and negative ions thought cells, which his where it is totally unique. With the right ionic flow between the intracellular and extracellular media, the electric potential of the cells is balanced and the tissue recovers its vital functions, maintaining a youthful cell population.

In simpler terms, along side the rejuvenation there is a rebalancing of cell activity to encourage cells to work at their best, resulting in more youthful cell activity.
